About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of production agreements, such as vendors, locations, crew members, department heads, music licenses, clearances, and the like.
- Draft, revise negotiate, and finalize a variety of agreements, legal documents, and correspondence for film, television, digital media, and new media talent.
- Communicate with entertainment labor unions such as SAG-AFTRA, DGA, and WGA.
- Conduct legal research and provide support on various legal matters related to media productions and labor union compliance.
- Maintain and update contract templates and status reports.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and firm policies.
- Demonstrate a positive, client-focused attitude in all client interactions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, contract administrator, or the like in the entertainment industry.
- Working knowledge of entertainment law and media production processes.
- Law Firm experience desired, but not required.
- Experience in U.S. Copyright Office filings (e.g. Form PA, Document Recordation) desired, but not required.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000
