The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience, including a background in litigation. A strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are critical for success.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate work assignments and manage litigation-related tasks.
- Prepare and format legal correspondence and documents with precision.
- Transcribe digital dictation and organize files and records efficiently.
- Perform e-filing in New Jersey and New York courts (preferred).
- Interact professionally and effectively with attorneys and clients.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a legal assistant role, including litigation support.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF tools.
- Organizational Skills:
- Proven ability to manage and maintain accurate records and files.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in correspondence.
- E-Filing Expertise:
- Experience with e-filing systems in New Jersey and New York is highly preferred.
