Currently we have a Lean Manager role open. This position leads all activities related to companywide lean initiative to include technical, business, administrative and cultural.
- Responsible for establishing an effective implementation and sustainment plan for all Lean improvement activities
- Establish a regular and effective communication process that covers plantwide communication as well as Executive Management reports
- Assures continuous growth of lean through benchmarking activity, and acting as company liaison with outside consultants insuring a self sustaining program
- Supports Executive Management goals/objectives
- Become the company Internal Consultant related to the Link Belt Production System, Lean Sigma or any improvement process established by management
- Leads complex and strategic projects while supporting companywide kaizen activity.
- Develop and achieve departmental budget guidelines
- Maintains an effective attainment/sustainment audit system determining financial impact and performance metrics that supports company wide Mid Term Plan goals and objectives
- Develop, recommend and/or conduct employee improvement training in order to develop employees and advance improvements
- Integrates Lean system concepts and tools into business processes throughout the company
General qualifications for this role:
- 4 year college degree
- preferred in a Technical/Engineering, Business, Industrial Psychology or Human Resources
- Five years supervisor/manager level experience with a lead role in implementing or sustaining lean activities, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Lean Manufacturing certification and/or Six Sigma Belt
