As a Veterinary Technician, you will have the chance to excel in your role by fulfilling all technical duties to ensure top-notch patient care.
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Effective communication with both clients & team
- Client education
- Confident and proficient as a surgical technician, including anesthesia monitoring
- Safe handling & restraint of animals
- Obtain vitals & medical history
- Venipuncture, including IV catheter placement
- Staff training and development
- Administer medications PO, SQ, IM, & IV
- Laboratory testing & radiography
- Previous management/leadership experience strongly preferred.
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a veterinary technician or surgery assistant
- Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technology program, preferred
- Dependability and reliability.
- High attention to detail.
- Superb customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt and think on your feet
