We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in multifamily construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also be tasked with managing project teams, coordinating with other departments, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. This role demands a high level of leadership, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all stages of multifamily construction projects, from planning and development to execution and completion.
2. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction and related workers.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
5. Conduct quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
6. Implement and manage project communication plans, ensuring effective and timely communication with the project team, clients, and stakeholders.
7. Resolve any issues or delays that occur on-site in a timely and effective manner.
8. Enforce all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and risk-free environment at all times.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
10. Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing multifamily construction projects.
4. Exceptional project management and time management skills.
5. Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
6. Excellent knowledge of construction quality control, building codes, and safety regulations.
7. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
10. Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
