About the Job
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 7+ years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic, JBoss or Wildfly application servers.
- 7+ years of experience administering web servers.
- 7+ years of experience configuring web server proxies and their connectivity to application servers.
- 7+ years of experience in UNIX environments with tools and core utilities including shell scripting.
- 5+ years of experience with deployment tools, such as Ansible and Octopus
- 5+ years of experience working with applications using Oracle Database
- 2+ years of experience administering and managing Kafka environments.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation, including researching complex issues, determining root cause, developing workarounds, and communicating issues with our vendors for resolution delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience promoting collaboration and teamwork across enterprise, leading by example, and contributing to the productivity and moral of the team.
- Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, secure, and regulated environment to meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
- 9+ years of software engineering experience
- 9+ years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic, JBoss or Wildfly application servers.
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience using the WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST)
- Experience administering Spring Boot applications.
- Additional tools/technology experience: Splunk, Docker, Kubernetes
