This position is contingent based on contract award.
Responsibilities
+ The lead ME shall serve as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for all mechanical systems at NGA Washington. The ME provides support to building operations in the following capacity:
+ Advise mechanical technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
+ Develop, implement and regularly review all mechanical preventative maintenance plans meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
+ Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required).
+ Ensure building modifications comply with all code requirements and original design intent for NGA Washington.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
+ Mechanical Engineer (ME) who is registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories or Possessions.
+ Seven years’ experience in managing and operating facilities.
+ Active Top Secret US security clearance with SCI eligibility.
