Our client in Long Island, NY is expanding and seeking an Experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee their shop operations.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with commercial heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership experience in a shop environment.
• ASE certification preferred.
