Lead Carpenter - Fresh Start Contracting

We are an upscale residential contracting company located in Burlington, MA. We work with renovations, restorations, rehabs, and repairs of all kinds on our client's homes. This includes kitchen, bath renovations, exterior restorations, porch building & repairs. Our clients rely on us for projects to be on time and on budget. They have come to expect above and beyond average communication when working with them on a project. Our intelligent, detailed, and honest approach to construction has left us with a great (and growing) reputation that we are proud of!

Over the past 15 years in business, we have seen tremendous growth with our skilled team of carpenters, managers, and general laborers. We are looking to add another skilled professional to our team. This position is for a LEAD CARPENTER. This position offers a steady schedule and allows for continuous growth for fine tuning your skills.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Key Skills ( Must Have)

Must be able to independently:

- Complete high quality work across the board
- Rough framing to finish work.
- Working along side other carpenters, and leader carpenter's.
- Damage repairs, porch building, space renovations (kitchen, bathroom, living spaces)
- Crown molding, trim, and cabinet installations.
- All phases of residential renovations
- Knowledge and understanding of Massachusetts building codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
