Are you an experienced bookkeeper seeking your next opportunity? We are seeking a Lead Bookkeeper for our client's team on site in U City.
This role is all about keeping our financial records accurate, acting at the office liaison, and ensuring we stay compliant with all the necessary regulations. Your work will support day-to-day accounting functions and keep our organization's financial health strong.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Maintain and categorize daily financial transactions in CMiC or similar systems.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable staff and keep the office running smoothly.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions for consistency.
- Assist with payroll preparation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and contribute to management reports, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Support external audits and uphold accounting standards.
- Act as office liaison - troubleshooting and directing questions as needed.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of accounting experience, particularly with the general ledger.
- Proficiency in accounting software (CMiC preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excel knowledge required - Pivot tables and VLookups
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
