Title and Summary Lead BizOps Engineer A US based Manager Position is needed to support the growing Automation based squad model that support the Risk Programs. This role will provide management support for global resources initially focused on level 9-7 employees and contractors. This role will focus on leading initiatives provided by the Release automation squad and evolving the scope of that squad to include new resiliency automation efforts. Additionally, the role will support pipeline and internal application development. Skills in Incident management, change management, Production Support, Squad leadership, Project Management, DevOps principles, DMP program applications, Pipeline development knowledge, and Standard Mastercard BizOps tooling are required. This role will also support Weekend Manager on Call for US based hours and will work with US based support squad resource to further initiatives for resiliency. Responsible for organizing, analyzing, and reporting on fraud and authorization data as collected by the applications within Risk Program set including Decision Management, Business Rules Engineering, and Transaction Resiliency. Major Accountabilities: • Coordinate and participate in review, revisions, changes, enhancements, testing, documentation, and member notification of product enhancements and/or business opportunities • Provide business knowledge and technical support for business requirements development • Work closely with developers and requesters identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems • Consulting with business owners on projects; develop and participate in the review of business and functional requirements and determine primary functions that the project is to provide; ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project • Document and coordinate changes and enhancements of products and services • Prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations • Provide technical support for the member(s) to ensure adherence to requirements • Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility, work with Software Engineers to define alternatives and recommend optimal solutions. Prepare overall project plan, incorporating costs and tasks from the various components, ensuring a successful and timely project implementation • Ensure methodology compliance, document problem areas and coordinate resolutions, reporting to management as necessary • Investigate/research MasterCard or industry business/technical process • Coordinate and assist in implementation of new or revised rules and policies • Coordinate and document project/release level user acceptance testing • Human resources responsibilities for direct reports Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience Knowledge / Experience: • 4-10 years related business experience. • Broad application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques • A high level of experience with Jenkins, Chef Infra, Chef Habitat, Jython , Ruby , Groovy, Digital.ai XL Release , Pivotal Cloud Foundry • Experience with leading small Agile teams using DevOps and SRE principles • Experience as a federated incident and problem manager Mastercard is an inclusive equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
