If so, R & W Group has a fantastic new entry level role in DC! One of our favorite law firm clients is looking for a Workforce Information Systems Assistant. In this role you would provide vital support to the Director of Workforce Information Systems by managing administrative tasks, maintaining workforce data systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role focuses on accurate data entry, generating workforce reports, and assisting with compliance efforts related to data privacy and security. The Assistant also supports the Director in coordinating system upgrades, testing new features, and preparing materials for strategic initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the department's overall goals. You must be in the DC area and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment with growth opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP).
- Law firm or professional services firm experience a plus.
- Minimum of 45 wpm typing.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and be able to know when to ask questions.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate about ongoing projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Ability to routinely follow-up and meet strict deadlines. Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional client service, both internal and external.
- Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary
The anticipated base salary for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
