Seeking 6+ years’ experience as a Law Firm Controller/Accounting Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA. Are you a financial expert known for their exceptional number-crunching skills? Look no further. A leading legal organization is seeking an experienced Controller to join their established team.

In-Office

Compensation -$110,000 - $130,000

• Previous experience within a private law firm
• Bachelor's degree in a business or finance-related field
• Active CPA certification or master’s degree
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Controller in a professional setting
• Proficiency in accounting and budgeting software, payroll and HRIS systems
• Competent in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Previous experience within a private law firm
• Oversee and direct accounting, payroll, budgeting, audit, tax, financial forecasting, reporting, collections, and insurance activities
• Manage and oversee activities such as budgeting, audit, tax, financial forecasting, reporting, and insurance
• Ensure efficient cash flow and prepare internal financial reports and annual statements
•  Familiarity with billing software, specifically Aderant
• Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity
• Familiarity with iManage document management system
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
• Positive team attitude
