Position Overview
The Land Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and overseeing land development projects from conception to completion within both the private and public sectors. This role requires collaboration with other engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for land development projects
- Design site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using AutoCAD Civil3D
- Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and construction teams to ensure project success
- Monitor construction progress and provide on-site engineering support
- Evaluate project costs and assist with budgeting and scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (P.E) license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in land development engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and other design software
- Strong understanding of zoning regulations and environmental laws
- Excellent communication and project management skills
