About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The individual will be involved in modeling neuronal responses to speech using encoding models. This research is important for understanding how the brain processes information in speech. The person will also be responsible for some administrative tasks needed to keep the lab operational and may also contribute to ongoing experiments in the lab.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Recruiting subjects for experiments
+ Running experiments
+ Preprocessing experimental data
+ Analyzing experimental data
+ Administrative work
Other projects and job duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School diploma or GED required
+ Associates degree in Health Science, Biology, Chemistry or other science related field of study preferred
+ or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 5 years of experience with performing basic sampling, monitoring or research activities; compiling and collecting data and preparing reports required.
+ Experience analyzing intracranial EEG; experience with conducting scalp EEG experiments required
+ OSHA safety requirements; scientific methods required.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $18.89 - $26.44 Hourly

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
