Labor & Employment Associate – California
Locations:Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office
Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a dynamic, motivated associate with 3-4 years of Labor & Employment Litigation experience to join a nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in either their Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office.
- Experience required:
- California wage and hour class action litigation
- PAGA claims
- Single plaintiff employment litigation
- Employee handbooks
- Day-to-day advice and counseling
- Strong legal writing skills
- Discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions
- Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
- Trial preparation in state and federal courts (preferred)
- Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations (preferred)
- Associate must have:
- Positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional work ethic
- Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills
- Ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments and work as part of a cohesive team.
- Top academics and top law firm experience required
- Must hold a JD from a Top 50 ABA-approved law school
- Must be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar at time of hire

- Expected salary range: $260,000 - $310,000 annually (based on experience and other job-related factors)
