Labor Compliance Coordinator - Ultimate Staffing Services

About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate processing, recording, and reporting of Certified Payroll Records (CPR) in compliance with California Prevailing Wage Law, Federal Davis-Bacon, Inflation Reduction Act obligations, and Union Master Labor Agreements.
- Audit certified payroll for construction projects (including subcontractors) to verify compliance with prevailing wage and fringe benefit requirements, following Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) guidelines.
- Input payroll data into LCPtracker and upload it to the CA DIR website.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to address and rectify payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed job logs using Excel spreadsheets to track compliance and project progress.
- Manage labor compliance for 50-70 projects weekly, ensuring all projects are compliant with applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in the construction industry.
- 1 year of experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll (California Davis-Bacon).
- Familiarity with the Inflation Reduction Act and related labor laws.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies and manage relationships with subcontractors.
