LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)/CMA at St Cloud Orthopedics

St Cloud Orthopedics might be the place for you. *We have been providing state of the art orthopedic care to the St Cloud and surrounding areas for nearly 70 years. Our practice is growing and we are looking for dedicated LPN/CMA staff to join our team. This position is 36 hours per week/72 hours per pay period. Option to pick up weekend shifts for double time (9AM-3PM).
*Duties:*
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care activities, including taking vital signs, collecting health information and performing basic medical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
- Provide patient education on various health topics, including medication instructions and self-care techniques, braces, orthotics etc. .
*Experience:*
- Must have a valid LPN License, or be a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, and electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
