LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE / PER DIEM - North Beach Rehabilitation Center

NORTH BEACH REHAB, A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN NORTH MIAMI, FL, is currently seeking  qualified LICENCED PRACTICAL NURSES PER DIEM to add to our team of professionals.

    Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

·         Provides plan care for all resident attending to.

·         Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit.

·         Must document changes and follow up on condition.

·         Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient/resident units.

·         Ensures that resident’s/patient’s rights are adhered to.

·         Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines.

·         Performs related duties as required. 

Requirements of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practial Nurse (LPN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
