LAND USE ATTORNEY-PARTNER LEVEL

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced attorney to join a growing Real Estate and Strategic Joint Venture team, focusing on land use and planning.&

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with all phases of the land use and development process, including:

Pre-acquisition due diligence and strategy

Entitlements

State and federal environmental compliance (CEQA, Coastal Act, NEPA)

Administrative appeals for development projects (residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use)

Provide planning and entitlement services across San Diego and Orange County

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary groups

Experience with renewable energy projects is a plus, but not required

Requirements:

Extensive experience in land use and planning

Strong connections and experience with the California Coastal Commission, County of San Diego, and City of San Diego

Ability to manage projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments

Familiarity with environmental compliance (CEQA, Coastal Act, NEPA)

Proven track record of client service and practice growth

Compensation:

Senior Associate salary range: $250,000 - $300,000, depending on experience
