Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Knuckle Boom Operator to join our team on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, including concrete mixers, backhoes, water trucks, and front loader trucks. As a Knuckle Boom Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Boom Truck and machinery while contributing to the overall success of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including drill rigs, excavators and backhoes to perform tasks such as digging and building on construction sites.
- Safely maneuver water trucks and tankers to transport materials as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL is required.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with concrete mixers, backhoes, water trucks, and front loader trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Commitment to safety practices and protocols on construction sites.
- Knuckle Boom: 1 year (Preferred)
- Crane Certification (Preferred)
We provide full-time steady work. Monday-Friday with opportunity for OT.
Must be safety minded and be willing to wear PPE at all times.
