About the Job
As a Back of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen crew. From preparing food to assembling orders, you’ll keep our kitchen running smoothly—all while enjoying the benefits of our unique three-day workweek! Team members may work on one of two teams: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; or, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Standard shifts ($16.00/hour) are expected to be 3-8 hours in length. Premium shifts ($17.00/hour) are expected to be 10-12 hours in length, opening or closing schedule, and an expected minimum of 30 hours per week.

- Prep Pro: Prepare ingredients and assemble food items with care, following Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality and presentation.
- Assembly Ace: Ensure each order is accurate and beautifully presented, ready to delight our guests.
- Restock Rockstar: Keep the kitchen well-stocked and organized, from fresh ingredients to cooking supplies.
- Clean Machine: Maintain a spotless kitchen environment, practicing food safety and sanitation at all times.
- Speedy & Safe: Work efficiently in a high-paced setting while adhering to food safety and quality guidelines.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during busy periods.

Growth Path
Our path to earning more within the organization is structured and transparent. Wages start at $16 or $17 for team members and $20 for shift leaders who have completed basic training. Team members make up to $18 and shift leaders up to $23.
Team Member Elite Tier:
Red to Silver: $0.25 raise
Silver to Gold: $0.25 raise
Gold to Diamond Elite: $0.50 raise
Shift Leader Elements Tier:
Water To Air: $0.50 raise
Air to Earth/Fire: $0.50 raise
Earth/Fire to Lightning/Metal: $1 raise
Proficiency in English or Spanish may be beneficial to team members for communication on shift. Applicants must be capable of physically demanding tasks, including, but not limited to: lifting 30-50 lbs., lifting above the head, repetitive motion, and standing for extended periods of time. Chick-fil-A Hillsboro is a multi-unit organization (Chick-fil-A Tanasbourne and Chick-fil-A Tualatin Valley Hwy and 67th Ave locations) owned and operated by Brian Hogan. Growing up, Brian lived in the Willow Creek neighborhood in Hillsboro before moving away at a young age. When he was 16, he started working at a Chick-fil-A in North Carolina. Brian loved serving people at Chick-fil-A, so when he decided he wanted to own a business, he worked to become an Operator. This led him back to Hillsboro, where he now lives with his wife, Jaclyn, and their three daughters.
