KS648 - Full-Time Personal Assistant/Right Hand - Colts Neck, NJ - British American Household Staffing

A busy principal in Colts Neck, NJ, seeks a top-notch, seasoned, faithful right-hand assistant and modern-day ladies' maid. Someone who is able to always be a step ahead proactively and a genuine right hand to the principals in maintaining their lives and properties. The home base for this role will be on the East Coast, so the candidate should live in the NY/NJ area and be able to commute to central NJ on their own. The family is not looking to relocate anyone. The schedule will be Monday through Friday on the property- forty hours per week generally, but with an after-hours mentality via phone/text, if needed.

The candidate should have attention to detail and see the bigger picture and every party involved from start to finish. Lots of moving pieces and parts! Must have experience handling high-end principals, homes and properties, vendors, and projects. Prior experience in the art, music, or A-list celebrity world is a huge plus! The ability to always be aware of the principals needs, anticipate them, and just generally care about the well being of the principal on a daily basis.  The successful candidate will be a down-to-earth, low-key personality who can blend into their lifestyle. The candidate should be able to read the room, know there is a line between personal and professional, and sense when to give the family privacy without being asked. A calm energy and non-chatty personality would be an excellent fit for the family. One of the properties is on a very large farm, so the candidate should be comfortable around all types of animals.

The family frequently travels privately, both domestically and internationally, so the candidate must have a current passport and be comfortable traveling when needed. The candidate must have prior experience handling high-end travel, aviation coordination with pilots and hangers, and yachting logistics is a plus! The family is looking for someone seeking longevity, as this is a long-term position. The family is super friendly and offers a generous salary, depending on experience, with a medical stipend and paid time off.
