We are seeking an energetic, skilled Inventory Control Clerk for an opening in our facility in Penn Yan, NY. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.
Main Functions: Responsible for Aseptic and Yogurt auditing of Manufacture Orders along with reporting of variances. Auditing Inventory Cycle Counts.

Salary: $22.00 / hour
Schedule: (Rotating 10-Hour night Shift Schedule)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak
- Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth.
- Handle the Aseptic Kit, Blend, and Pack out MO’s along with auditing the issuing and returning of material.
- Handle the Yogurt Kit, Blend, and Pack out MO’s along with auditing the issuing and returning of material.
- Handle all production lines Manufacturing Order checklist, investigate, and explain variances, along with pulling Bi Reporting
- Reconcile the bulk inventory materials daily.
- Handle the non-conforming process for all production lines.
- Process Inventory Adjustments
- Audit Milk and Sugar Receiving paperwork.
- Ability to audit cycle counts and explain variances.
- Back up of the other shift Inventory Control Clerk
- Other duties assigned by the Division Controller
Qualifications
Employment Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office – specific to Excel
- Experience utilizing an ERP or inventory management system, preferably experience with MS Great Plains or equivalent system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to problem solve or review data and identify outliers
- Ability to analyze and understand business process / flow
- Maintain confidentiality of business information confidentiality
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and experience utilizing an ERP or inventory management system
- Ability to work across a cross-functional team to complete responsibilities
