What You Will Do:
The individual must be able to quickly learn new concepts from both a technical and functional perspective and articulate the ongoing issues, their potential root cause, and the planned or implemented solutions to a broad spectrum of audiences including the supporting resources, executive management personnel, and customers. This individual must be able to analyze problems and take accountability for the provided solution. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a larger team are very important.
- Successful candidate will be involved with problem identification, research, trouble shooting and final resolution of technical problems.
- Assist with ongoing IT projects as needed.
- Primary point of contact for all Tier 1 issues.
- Accurately prioritize, categorize, escalate and manage incidents by impact to business or established SLAs.
- Manage customer expectations to satisfaction.
- Complete various administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills:
- Due to Federal requirements this position requires US citizenship. Additionally, the selected candidate witll be required to pass a government required background investigation (Public Trust).
- Bachelors Degree is required. An Associate's degree plus 2 years of professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years professional experience
- Previous customer service or help-desk experience
- Self-Starter and able to work independently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Experience managing, supporting, monitoring and patching technical applications
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve alerts, events or issues
- Understanding of common information architecture frameworks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to coordinate across teams to reach an issue resolution
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
- Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructively
- Ability to debug issues based on documentation and logs
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
Minimum Requirements
TCS217, T1, Band 4
- Experience in leveraging cloud environments (i.e. AWS, etc.)
- Solid understanding of, or prior experience with, administering Linux operating systems

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
