Title	Junior Project Manager
Description	Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Junior Project Manager to support our NOAA client in Silver Spring, MD in a hybrid onsite schedule. The Junior Project Manager will support a variety of projects within the NOAALink Program Office, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities. With at least 8 years of professional experience, the candidate will work closely with government project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are managed effectively. Essential Functions Assisting in the development of detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget estimates. Supporting the coordination of project tasks. Tracking project progress and updating project schedules and documentation. Identifying potential project risks, maintaining risk registers, and working with government project managers to develop risk response strategies. Communicating project status, challenges, and milestones to team members and stakeholders. Ensuring that project deliverables meet established quality standards and align with program objectives. Managing day-to-day project activities, including organizing meetings and preparing meeting materials. Assisting in the preparation and presentation of project reports and briefings to leadership and stakeholders. Executing project tasks within integrated project teams according to contract requirements as needed. Fostering collaborative relationships with team members and supporting a positive project environment. Ensuring compliance with NOAALink Program Office policies, procedures, and best practices. Contributing to continuous improvement of project management processes within the program office. Supporting program office operations by addressing customer questions and concerns and offering advisory support as needed. Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
Position Requirements	Education & Training Bachelor’s degree Minimum Experience & Skills Eight or more years of professional experience Has a basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Able to manage multiple tasks and support various projects simultaneously Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Skilled in Google Suite of products Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Education/Certifications & Skills PMP or equivalent certification Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) Highly skilled in Google Suite of products Experience in government contracting or supporting federal programs Experience in facilitating and managing integrated project teams Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
