Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annual base

WSE’s award-winning, original programming is led by some of the most popular athletes and personalities in sports media -- including the hit digital series’ “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” “Podcast P with Paul George,” “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero”, “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” and “The Right Time with Bomani Jones” -- dishing out entertaining commentary, unique perspectives, expert analysis, and behind-the-scenes stories about the players and events that are shaping the world of sports. WSE also holds partnerships with 100 rights holders and sports properties, providing always-on programming to followers of the internet's largest and most engaged social communities.
WSE is seeking a social media producer to join the WSE Premium Originals Team. This individual would serve a critical role internally and externally on our premium shows: developing the social media identity and content strategy, producing social content, and owning distribution and marketing. This highly collaborative and detail-oriented person will work with talent, social, commercial, and original content teams across our org, as well as external sponsors and partners.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating exceptional social media content, managing large online communities, and developing/executing social strategies for engagement, virality, and growth. This producer should have a keen sense of the current social landscape and trends and will be able to implement that sense to create socially native, optimized content that yields viral engagement. This individual will bring an instinctive knowledge of how to write unique copy that mirrors the tone and voice of our shows while speaking the language of audiences on social.
Responsibilities
- Develop brand identity on social and execute a programming strategy that leverages video, images, memes, and social trends to put this show at the top of users' feeds
- Creatively produce short video content stemming from long-form (YouTube shows) for distribution on social
- Content distribution across all platforms, inclusive of copywriting, schedule ownership, post-tracking
- Community management of a growing audience
- Collaboration in the production of a full premium show and with a team of producers, video editors, and graphic designers to create the best-in-class social content around the show
- Collaborate with Sales/Brand teams to execute live activations and sold/sponsor content obligations across show inventory
- Personal presence at on-the-ground original show executions
- Copywriting: brand building through tone and voice to engage a growing community
- Utilize platform/internal analytics to track performance, understand audience behaviors, and refine content strategies to enhance performance
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Premiere
- 2 years creating and managing social brands
- Experience producing content in or related original talent-driven shows
- Experience working in-studio on original talent-driven shows
- Experience creating and executing content strategies designed to market and promote
- Proficiency working with multiple social media/digital platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube being primary
- Experience managing, growing, and engaging social communities

This role is a full-time position with a base salary range of $60,000 - $70,000/year, and may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Actual salary at the time of offer may vary based on multiple factors, including an individual's level of experience and qualifications. Physical Requirements Work Environment
- Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and hardware.
- The ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately.
- Work is sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of work hours.
- Able to work full-time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
- The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office.
