Journeyman Plumber
Pay: Full-Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt
Reports to: Maintenance Director
Salary and Benefits:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour commensurate with experience

Essential Functions include:
The Journeyman Plumber is a full-time position in Vancouver, WA servicing multiple communities and properties. A plumber installs, repairs, and maintains piping systems, fixtures, and appliances, such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters, for both residential and commercial properties. They troubleshoot issues like leaks or blockages, ensure systems meet building codes, and follow safety protocols. Plumbers also interpret blueprints, provide cost estimates, and ensure high-quality, efficient service. Responsible for adherence to all company policies and products, including safety.
- Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures for gas, water and sanitary lines, for toilets, sinks, boilers, heat exchangers values, pump, water stills, and hot water heaters.
- Identify and diagnose complex plumbing issues, using specialized tools and techniques to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Performs plumbing and general building maintenance services.
- Will make suggestions on additional plumbing and maintenance needs.
- Maintenance plumbing license required by Washington State to engage in business for Invest West Management.
- Asses project requirements and provide accurate estimates for labor, materials, and completion times on projects.
- Implement and follow safety protocols to protect workers, clients, and property, especially when handling hazardous materials.
- Oversee ordering and stocking of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring necessary resources are available prior to arriving to a job site.
- Interpret and read blueprints and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations with safety and compliance of buildings.
- Inspect plumbing work to ensure it meets quality standards and industry codes, making adjustments as needed.
- Respond to emergency plumbing issues and calls, including leaks, burst pipes, or gas line issues to minimize property damage.
- Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project progress and explaining work as needed.
The Master Plumber position will evolve, and additional duties and responsibilities may be revised/added as business needs dictate.
Experience:
2+ years of plumbing experience
WA Plumber License Required/OR Plumber license recommended
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Property Meld experience recommended
Basic tools required (see attachment below)
A proven track record with supervisory experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team, and meeting financial performance and KPI's is required.
PTO:
PTO is offered at 6 hours per pay period; roughly 3 weeks per year.
