ASI is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to work in San Diego, CA. Logistics Analysts perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide logistics support analysis to the E-2/C-2 Fleet Support Team (FST) located at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW)
- Perform maintenance planning/design interface functions
- Identify impact on life cycle logistics planning to include identifying changes to each logistic support element, associated requirement dates, and impact on delivery and deployment schedules
- Provide supportability and technical analysis of operational ILS requirements
- Conduct research and analysis within the supply chain concerning elements of procurement, transportation, storage, handling, receiving, issuing, and delivery of material
- Assess and analyze reliability, availability, supportability, and affordability requirements to develop viable alternatives in supporting program requirements
- Respond to technical, logistics support analysis, and supportability questions from fleet and other E-2/C-2 community personnel
Required Qualifications:
- At least six years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Operations Management, Business Management, Management Science, Program Management, Purchasing Management, Procurement/Acquisitions, Contracts Management, or Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- High School diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of recent experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Configuration Management or Supply Support experience
- Former Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force technical/maintenance experience
- Familiarization with online tools such as JEDMICS, Haystack, OneTouch, Deckplate, EMALL, etc.
- Experience performing ILS activities such as FMECA, RCM, Maintenance Planning, LORA, etc.
- Experience with creating and reviewing technical documents such as ECPs, TDs, and others
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance
