Ameri Pro Restoration is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our highly rated restoration and construction team. As a vital member of our crew, you will use your framing expertise to help restore homes and buildings to their pre-damaged condition. - Perform expert-level carpentry, including framing, trimming, and finish work.
- Restore and rebuild residential and commercial properties after wind, storm, and other damages.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute precise carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and ensure exceptional quality standards.
- Safeguard client property by maintaining clean and organized job sites.
- Utilize advanced carpentry tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with the team and clients to provide updates and address questions or concerns.
- Operate and haul a dump trailer as needed for project requirements.
- Education & Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a professional carpenter, with an emphasis on framing.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial restoration or remodeling projects.
- Skills
- Expertise in framing, including walls, floors, and roof systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Additional Requirements
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the ability to haul a dump trailer.
- Own tools necessary for the role of a lead carpenter.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
