Job Title: Inventory Specialist - Shawnee, KS (1st Shift)
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Inventory Specialist performs tasks related to the movement, restocking and accounting of items stored in various locations. Responsibilities can include compiling and maintaining records, identifying types of supplies, and suggesting reorder for revolving stock.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma
- 4 Years Inventory management work experience.
- Knowledge of supply chain management systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis software.
- Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Restocking and accounting of items stored.
- Suggesting re-order points for revolving stock.
- Managing the flow and accuracy of inventory.
- Tracking inventory supplies, ensuring that goods are in stock.
- Forecasting inventory needs.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Handling any logistics issues that arise.
- Compiling and maintaining supply records.
- Collect, store, and manage research data in a secure and organized way.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate and consistent data entry, quality control, and documentation.
- Manage physical and electronic records, including backups, archiving, and retrieving data as needed.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Shawnee: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM (staggered start times) Monday through Friday
PRIMARY PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
23501 W 84th St. Shawnee KS 66227 (Relocation of the Leavenworth CMOP)
Clearance Level Required: Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.
