Volt is immediately hiring an Inventory Specialist in Portland, OR.
As an Inventory Specialist, you will:
- Use handheld computer scanner to support operations.
- Use Forklift (Stand Up and Sit-down experience required)
- Needs a candidate that has experience using VWS software to communicate with external suppliers.
- Able to follow directions and be self-sufficient on site.
- The warehouse is massive, and ideally the candidate should be self-sufficient.
- Be safe and have common sense of warehouse operations.
- Receiving/put away/pick/pack and ship.
This is a Full-Time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm- 40hrs. a week
The ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently and have a positive attitude.
- Sufficient skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer data entry.
- Be comfortable with standing for extended periods of time, heavy physical effort (i.e., lifting, pushing, pulling), walking, bending, working in various temperature conditions
- Flexibility for occasional hours during peak season
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen, THC is okay.
- Forklift (stand up and Sit-down) experience required.
