Schedule: Flexible start between 6am - 7:30am, will work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
Hiring Range: $22.87/hour - $30.00/hour - placement in the range dependent on applicable professional experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to min/max limits as inventory decrements.
- Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
- Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of adjustments, such as DOH and daily inventory adjustments.
- Develop and implement ABC classifications based on clinic priorities and needs.
- Provides inventory reports to purchasing, warehouse manager, and others.
- Responsible for identifying, labeling and updating the location of all items on shelves and in the inventory system.
- Manage stock items through their life cycle.
- Lead weekly backorder management call and process.
- Conducts frequent cycle counts of physical inventory and inputs results into ERP.
- Processes and documents returns.
- Manage reverse distribution process for drug reimbursement.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience with computerized inventory systems required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Pharmacy Assistant Certification. (paid for by Vancouver Clinic).
Pay Range:
$22.42 - $31.38
