Position: Inventory Analyst
Shift: 1st shist
Location: Fort Worth, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain accurate inventory data in WMS and/or ERP systems
· Works with Inbound Manager to implement policies, practices, and procedures to improve the control of inventory
· Assists with slotting and bin location control in the WMS system (Softeon)
· Implement and maintain the Cycle Count program in the required cycles and on a timely manner
· Accountable for counting & adjusting the inventory, bin transfers, and computer entries
· Research inventory discrepancies through transaction histories, including additions of returned product into stock, shipping, receiving.
· Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required
· Find root cause for inventory inaccuracies and assist in executing a plan to improve inventory accuracy
· Maintain and comply with all processes and procedures to ensure inventory compliance
· Assist other departments when necessary for business success
· Manage multiple item classes and brands of product into multiple stocking locations
· Maintain and comply with all processes and procedures to ensure inventory compliance
· Plan and assist annual physical inventories
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
· Previous Inventory Control and Cycle Counting experience a must
· Must become power user of WMS system (Softeon)
· Better than average math skills
· Strong analytical skills, communication skills, attention to detail
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, namely Excel
· Must have working experience of material/inventory movement within ERP/WMS System
· Knowledge of continuous improvement, and using metrics to drive change
· Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
· Willing to work overtime when necessary
· Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
· Must be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects
· Finger/wrist dexterity to work effectively on computer keyboard or grabbing/packaging product
· Must be able to work independently without supervision is required
· Ability to exchange information with co-workers and work as part of a team
