Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Randallstown, MD

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our partner Health Center in Randallstown, MD. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures and assisting physicians during interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures in Angiography, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Radiology, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
• Assist Physicians: Provide support to physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and stent placements.
• Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, address any concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout the examination.
• Technical Expertise: Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy units and C-arms, with proficiency and precision.
• Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and regulations to protect both patients and staff.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Maryland License - Certified Medical Radiation Technologist
  • ARRT Registered
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
