Interpreters and Translators - Multiple Languages - Parks Global Solutions, LLC

We are seeking talented bilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters and translators for various local government programs, activities, and sponsored events.  Assignments will be available on short and long term bases 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year.

Seeking Applicants Proficient in Target Languages: Dari, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese 

Responsibilities:  

Off-site and On-site interpreting- Consecutive interpreting for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) through telephone, personal computer/laptop devices and/or through video conferencing.

Translate from English to target lanuage.

Follow assignment instructions and training guides.

Via phone call or e-mail, accept or decline appointment requests in a timely manner.

Exhibit professional behavior and dress at all times.

Arrive on time to all assignments.

Must have reliable transportation

Skills and Experience: 

Must have at minimum (2) years’ experience of interpretation / translation

Must demonstrate fluency in English and a 2nd language

Medical and/or Legal interpretating a PLUS

Bachelors Degree preferred

Certifications required

Native or academic understanding in listed languages and dialects

Interpreting opportunities will be based on assignment requirements such as certifications, experience, etc.
