Job Description
The International Supply Chain Analyst position entails supporting corporate clients with the implementation, management and oversight of their import/export international logistics and supply chain management functions. Duties include customer service, problem solving, order processing, shipment execution, regulatory compliance, interaction with third party vendors, projects, etc. Attention to detail is important.

Duties and Responsibilities
● Develop customer service oriented rapport and maintain supportive
relationships with overseas and domestic customers.
●Communicate with corporate and vendor contacts to procure customer
requirements (e.g. finished products, raw materials, spare parts, etc.) to
support their business.
●Interact with 3rd party vendors (e.g. freight forwarders, carriers, customs
brokers, warehouse operations, suppliers/distributors, etc.) to implement
supply chain requirements and execute import or export shipments.
●Utilize state-of-the-art software to process orders, receive inventory, create
shipping instructions, prepare shipping documents and run analysis reports,
etc.
●Process carrier, freight forwarder and customs broker billing packages, audit
their documents and monitor their performance.
●Maintain files/records of import/export shipment documentation.
●Learn, understand and implement various International and US Government
Agencies regulatory compliance requirements for import and export activity.
●Support consulting and other special projects for clients, such as import or
export compliance assessments, development of import/export SOPs and
creation of RFPs for carrier, forwarder or customs broker selection.
●Troubleshoot and resolve client’s logistics/transportation problems.
●As necessary, attend meetings, prepare presentations, and develop reports to
promote INTRAL services and value to its clients.
●Assist management with suggestions and ideas to improve operations/systems
and help with marketing activities to obtain new clients.
