Internal Communications Associate
Candidates MUST be local and within driving distance to Bedford MA, Hybrid role
6+ Months Contract
The chosen candidate will be required onsite at least 2 days per week. in the Bedford Facility.
Full-Remote candidates will not be considered.
Candidates must have 2-4 years of relevant work experience for consideration.
Candidates must have a completed Bachelor's Degree for consideration.

Summary:
Looking for a creative and proactive contract internal communications associate to partner with *** senior executives, craft organizational communications, and keep staff informed through engaging story telling. Acting as a communications consultant to global functions (Executive, HR, Marketing, Product, R&D, IT etc.) they develop and execute clear, engaging messaging and campaigns that ensure content captures readers' interest, while promoting company messages. This person will also can get external communication exposure.
What You Will Do:
Part journalist, part project manager and part communications strategist, this person will focus on developing a diverse set of communications and creative campaigns for ***'s Next Normal workplace. Our employees work across a hybrid global environment, and we need to ensure they have the information they need to connect and collaborate and be productive wherever they are located. The person in this role will help to produce culture-building content and manage employee networking and social events. Success will be driven by building relationships with internal communications 'ambassadors” in global locations and departments to promote consistent messaging and coordinate efforts across the organization.

Ensure internal messages are communicated to employees in a clear, timely and effective manner, using a high impact writing style and format
Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that support the communication of internal messages helping *** shape culture, drive engagement, and deliver results
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate employee communications content into overall company goals and messaging
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
The ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization to cultivate global, cross-functional content and empower employees to be content contributors.
Adaptability, creativity and expert problem-solving skills
Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written communications consistent with *** messaging.
Experience developing and executing communications plans
Event and project management skills to develop culture-building events, including Town Hall meetings, employee engagement events
Continually improve, measure, and evaluate effectiveness of employee communications strategy and methods
Knowledge of SharePoint or other intranet platform tool.

Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working with an HR team or on HR/employee communications a plus
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Video editing experience a plus
