POSITION: Internal Auditor
WORK MODEL: 100% Remote
SALARY: $90,000-$110,000

About Us: We are a well-established, non-profit community health center serving multiple counties in Ohio.

Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to oversee our finance and billing departments. This key leadership role will manage financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial operations for our growing healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Internal Auditor will oversee financial reporting and quality control processes
• Manage regulatory reporting including Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports, UDS reports, and Form 990 returns
• Coordinate external audits and maintain federal grant support
• Supervise finance and billing department operations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare financial regulations
• Provide strategic financial guidance to management team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
• The Internal Auditor will possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing deadlines and multiple priorities

Preferred:

• Experience with Intacct accounting system
• Public Accounting
• Healthcare finance experience
