Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Internal Auditor to join our technology team. This position is integral to ensuring the integrity and transparency of our financial and operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role will require deep knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of the technology industry.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct complex internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
3. Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.
4. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
5. Maintain open communication with management and audit committee.
6. Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
7. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
8. Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, performance standards.
9. Actively participate in industry organizations and develop a network of professional contacts.
10. Provide Compliance Training to staff and ensure adherence to best practices and compliance regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or a related field.
3. Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor.
4. Experience in the Technology industry or Gaming Management is highly desirable.
5. Possession of a Gaming License is a plus.
6. Experience with bank claims and audit compliance.
7. In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices.
8. Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
9. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
10. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
11. Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Willingness to maintain current knowledge of changes in the regulatory environment.
15. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification preferred.
