About the Job
The Sales Ops & Steering Intern will support the Sales Ops & Steering General Manager to develop a broad understanding of BMW Financial Services business, national sales targets and KPIs. The intern will develop a network with department heads, regional field teams in FS Sales, as well as Operations divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking sales initiatives execution, target vs. achievement on key performance indicators to prepare management updates
- Manage the key forum and committee calendar as well as coordinate content gathering across department business lines (Retail Finance Commercial Finance, Insurance) and supporting divisions (Marketing, Credit & Funding)
- Develop a strong network within FS at department head, field and internal associate levels to gather critical insights, learn FS business
- Build proficiency in BMW Group and brand specific CI

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30.
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20.
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
- Field of study: Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
- Experience with analytical tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Storyboarding, visual representation of data, and insights derivation skills
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
Preferences:
- Prior internship experience in Automotive or Banking industries
