ABOUT THE PROGRAM– Summer 2025 Internship

• Visit our nearby power plants: Grand Ridge Energy Center and Nelson Energy Center 

• Spend a day giving back to the community with our ‘Volunteer Time Off’program 

• Have lunch with our CEO and Founder, Michael Polsky 

• Attend a networking mixer to learn more about and engage with representatives from our various affinity groups (Women’s Network, LGBTQ+, Black & Brown, Veteran’s Network, & more!) 

• Explore Chicago with your fellowinterns 

• Our program takes place from June – August lasting for 10-12weeks 

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP 

As an Intern on our FP&A team, you will have the unique opportunity to work with an excellent team to understand how Invenergy manages liquidity domestically & internationally including: cash management, short-term cash forecasting, credit support, foreignexchangeand investments. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see how this experience applies to our long-term budgeting,planningand analysisprocess. All the while, paving the way to make a difference in the future of Invenergy and sustainable energy. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Gain an understanding of the Financial close process for Invenergy’s transactions (bank account activities, collateral replacement, impact on the financial statements, etc.). 

• Contribute to overall cash management strategy & support daily cash forecasting activities. 

• Oversee bank fee analysis across multiple banks. 

• Assist with FBAR activities. 

• Assistwith daily Investment & Foreign Exchange transactions. 

• Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, and metrics andproviderecommendations on actions and next steps. 

• Assistwith the monthly and quarterly reporting on relevant operational and financial metrics across corporate overhead and all of Invenergy’s business segments. 

• Contribute to the monthly preparation and review of the company-wide budget vs. actual performance. 

• Take the lead on one process improvement project over the course of the summer under the guidance of the team. 

• Providesupport to ad hoc requirements as they arise. 

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS  

• Currentlyenrolled in a 4-yearBachelor’sdegree program with an expected graduation date betweenDecember 2025 and Summer 2026 

• Majoringinfinance, accounting, economics, or related discipline. 

• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. 

• DemonstratedInterest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
