The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with strong design skills and experience working on workplace and commercial interiors projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, detail-oriented, and excited to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions. As part of a global firm with a single profit center, this role provides opportunities for career growth and professional development through exposure to a variety of projects and client types. Travel across the U.S. may also be part of the position, offering exposure to a broad range of design challenges and experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop creative interior design concepts for workplace and commercial interior projects.
- Participate in all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity and quality.
- Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design solutions are executed accurately and meet client expectations.
- Assist in selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment that align with the design vision and project requirements.
- Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in workplace and commercial interiors.
- Support project documentation, including construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing design insight and recommendations.
- Travel as needed to support project installations and site visits across the U.S.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on workplace or commercial interiors.
- Strong design and conceptual thinking skills with a portfolio showcasing innovative and well-executed projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- LEED accreditation or progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) is a plus.

Hybrid Model (3 days working in the office and 2 days working remotely)
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location.
Salary Range: $97k to $108k
