About the Job
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an U.S. Army Futures Intelligence Operations Analyst with a strong background in Army Signals signals intelligence, all source intelligence, or Army Intelligence 35 series (35A, 35D, 35F, 35G,35H, 35N, 35S, or 35T) related roles to support the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center (FCC). This role involves assessing threats and future operational environments, developing future concepts and requirements, and creating an integrated modernization pathway to enhance lethality and overmatch, enabling Soldiers and units to compete, deploy, fight, and win future wars. This position is located on-site in Fort Eustis, Virginia.
This position will provide Defense Acquisition University training material to help the Analyst learn the acquisitions function of the job.
The Intelligence Operations Analyst will:
- Provide program management support for the Futures and Concepts Center (FCC).
- Evaluate implications of capability data and other information for assigned programs.
- Determine applicability of programs to future mission sets, including field artillery, air defense, intelligence, communications, cyber, counter-intelligence, maneuvers, or sustainment missions.
- Synthesize information for application and integration into Army and Joint Service objectives.
- Identify new requirements for development, integration, or product improvement.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with Intelligence Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID), Army Futures Command (AFC) Modernization Integrators, and HQDA G8 portfolio managers.
- Lead work groups, prepare/present briefing products, provide executive summaries (EXSUMS) and significant activities (SIGACTS).
- Facilitate the processing of materiel solution requirement documents in obtaining AROC approval.
- Advise, manage, and coordinate CDID Entry Gate package submission for senior leader decision forums for draft requirement document packages for materiel solutions.
- Manage and track associated processes to ensure movement of requirements or capabilities through review and approval steps.
- Build and maintain a network of HQDA, AFC, CDID, ACM, and CAC action officers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of Army Command experience in progressively responsible command and staff positions.
- US Army Futures Command experience highly desired.
- Must maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Experience with Army Intelligence Systems
- Expert understanding of DOD, Army, AFC, and FCC strategic priorities, mission, and business operations.
- Expert ability to develop and congeal teams and use logic and reasoning in ambiguous environments with limited/no formal authority.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Expert knowledge of the Requirements Management and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems process.
- Preferred: Experience with Army ISR operator systems and a background in Signals Analysis or related roles
Compensation:
- Starting pay range: $90,000 - $105,000
