The Insurance Manager role will be responsible for the insurance related functions of the company. They will work closely with all divisions and provide guidance to ensure risks are being addressed appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the ERM team, ensuring efficient and compliant workflow
- Provide guidance and training to promote risk control awareness, ownership and accountability
- Manage the renewal of the company's insurance program
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and insurers
- Implement programs to improve and enhance working knowledge of malpractice insurance
- Maintain and enhance relationships with internal contacts by executing proactive, creative, and on-going contact initiatives
- Resolve insurance related questions from divisions, third parties and healthcare providers
- Review and provide feedback on contractual insurance obligations
Qualifications:
- Ability to inspire energy in others
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to articulate information and concepts convincingly with strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills focusing on consistently meeting urgent deadlines
Education and Years of Experience:
- Five years' work experience in a relevant field in a fast-paced, team environment
- Experience working with a variety of personality styles
- Minimum of five years of working knowledge of commercial property and casualty coverages required
Preferred:
- Relevant Insurance Designations
- Bachelor's Degree
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $72,600 -- $140,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
