About the Job
Experience Desired:
National firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale seeks Insurance Defense litigation assistant/legal secretary due to growth.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a law firm preferably in Insurance Defense
- Proficient in preparing and e-filing legal documents in both the state and federal courts
- Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and be proactive.
- State and county rules of civil procedures a must
- Must be a motivated legal secretary
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 plus years of experience.
- Civil litigation/Insurance Defense experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent case management experience required.
- Candidate must have excellent grammar, proofreading skills, and superior work ethic.
- Must be familiar with calendar management and scheduling depositions, hearings and deadlines
- MS Office proficiency required.

Job Requirements
