About the Job
Insurance Agency, Part Time (Plainfield) Insurance agency is looking for a part time or full time 35 hours or less. Weekly Flexible hours.
Communicating with clients: Employee will interact with customers via phone, email, or in person to provide assistance with their insurance needs.
Processing policy changes: They help customers with policy changes such as adding or removing drivers, updating coverage limits, or changing payment information.
Handling claims: Insurance CSRS help customer file claims, work with adjustors to process claims, and keep customers informed of the claims process.
Billing Inquiries: They assist customers with billing inquiries, such as explaining charges or helping to set up payment plans.
An Insurance CSR provides customers with information about insurance policies, coverage options, and other related matters.
Polite customer service is necessary at all times.
Ability to communicate well with customers and team members
Must have excellent attendance
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service at all times.
Adapt quickly to clients needs
Have outstanding communication skills, empathy, patience and the ability to think quickly
Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Process customer policy change requests.
Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
Take premium payments from customers.
Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
Return all phone messages promptly.
Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Be outstanding at relationship building.
Maintain client relationships with follow-up phone calls.
Claims follow up calls.
Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
Be able to muti-task and work in a busy environment.
Good time managements skills
Support the office producers
Requirements
High school diploma or some college is required
Prior Insurance experience is a plus or customer service experience
Must have an Illinois state insurance license or be able to attain in the first 2 months of employment. We pay for all training, licensing and renewal licensing. Continuing education is key.
Must have knowledge of basic Microsoft Office functions especially Outlook
Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude at all times.
Must have a positive review day 30 and 60.
