Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and CA Barred Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our team. This candidate can be located anywhere in the US as long as they hold a CA license. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law, with a focus on coverage issues. The position involves representing insurance companies in various legal matters, with occasional representation of insured individuals or businesses. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal counsel, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating insurance coverage disputes when necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel to insurance clients on coverage matters.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.

Draft coverage opinions and policy language interpretations.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies.

Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.

Represent clients in court proceedings, when required.

Stay current on relevant legal developments and industry trends.

Qualifications

Active membership with the California Bar.

Graduated from a Top 15 Law School.

Strong background in insurance law with an emphasis on coverage matters.

Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Litigation experience, particularly in insurance coverage disputes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
