The Learning and Development team supporting Amazon Talent Acquisition is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop and manage large-scale learning programs focused on recruiters, recruitment coordinators, recruitment managers, and program managers. The ideal candidate thrives working in a fast-paced and

The ideal Instructional Designer candidate has demonstrated experience working across multiple instructional delivery modalities to create high-quality learning experiences. You are the voice of the learner and will ensure their needs are at the
forefront of every deliverable. You are knowledgeable in adult learning and instructional design strategies for performance-based outcomes, can adapt and move quickly. You should be comfortable managing multiple concurrent and
independent tasks in a fast-paced environment, iterating rapidly on designs based on feedback while meeting milestones and deadlines.
You will partner across the organization to build learning products in a high-growth organization on a global scale. This is an opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy for new learning and develop content.
Key job responsibilities
Manage projects through the design life cycle from scoping, research and analysis, design, development, and launch, providing clear timelines through all phases of development and selecting appropriate measurement for successful implementation.
Communicate with key partners, including subject matter experts, key leadership, and end users.
Identify learning objectives, assess learners, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver instruction including consulting with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps and learning objectives.
Manage the development of instructional materials (eLearning, job aids, tutorials, audio and video materials, storyboards, knowledge checks, et.) that transform information into engaging instructional materials.
Direct and guide learning design for internal and/or external subject matter experts enlisted to produce and publish technical content.
Utilize instructional design frameworks and maintain consistency across training projects.
Adhere to accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
Complete quality assurance measures and content audits for new and existing training.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Adult Education, Learning Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience designing and developing advanced e-Learning using tools such as Articulate, Adobe CS, Vyond, and Camtasia.
Experience using measurement and data to drive learning interventions.
Experience working with subject matter experts and program stakeholders to design curriculum.
Experience with administrative tasks in a learning management System.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years' experience designing online instructional activities to support adult learners.
Experience using quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
Project management experience from conception and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment.
Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
