Purpose of Position:
To provide installation service operations with strong electrical, suspension, and mechanical skills according to Alamo's standard.
Primary Roles:
- Performing installations
- Technical support
- Product feedback
- Diagnosing and fixing comebacks
- Shop cleanliness
- Product knowledge
Essential Functions:
- Follows installation procedures
- Provides advice to sales representatives on products
- Maintains high level of product knowledge and promotions
- Assists in other areas as requested

Education and Experience:
The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided.
- High School diploma/GED with two years of direct automotive suspension, electrical, mechanical experience required and at least six months experience in three out of the seven next areas:
- Suspensions and leveling to complete
- Emergency Lighting
- Complete Airlift leveling system with compressor
- Backup camera systems
- Van interior package installs
- Police car builds (overhead light bars, computer stands and or rifle mounts, interior components such as prisoner seats, partitions, etc.
- Metal fabrication, welding, service body and flatbed installations, liftgate installations
- Valid Standard Driver License required
- Must possess automotive tools to perform job
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Carries out company plans and works as a representative of the company. Works towards meeting goals and ensuring company success. Responsible for all safety aspects of the company.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computers and phone/radio equipment, standard equipment such as hand tools, forklifts, cherry pickers, and box cutters. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must frequently exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move and lift objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Schedule:
Determined by assigned department. May include weekends and one day off during the week. Overtime may be required. Travel may be required occasionally.
Compensation details: 17.79-21.88 Hourly Wage
